Frequent Questions

How important is the workplan and how does the workplan affect scoring criteria?

The workplan is the most important part of the application package. The workplan describes the project.

Workplans that are focused and succinct are stronger than ones that try to address too many issues. The work plan must contain and address each component as listed in the Environmental Justice Small Grants Program Application Guidance, found on this page: https://www.epa.gov/environmentaljustice/environmental-justice-small-grants-program

Information provided in the workplan will be used to evaluate each eligible application using the evaluation criteria presented in Section V of the Solicitation.
