No, from 2008 until July 2013, EPA piloted two approaches to accepting Audit Policy disclosures electronically: (1) the national pilot for EPCRA-only disclosures; and (2) Region 6’s disclosure system, which accepted the disclosure of violations under all EPA-administered environmental statutes. The old system served primarily as an information collection portal, but disclosures were still processed manually by EPA. Unlike the earlier pilots, the new eDisclosure system will not only accept disclosures electronically, but also will automatically process and resolve disclosures -- providing quicker response, reducing transaction costs for regulated entities and EPA, and increasing Agency efficiency. Also, the new eDisclosure will be centralized and will cover all regions and statutes.
Isn’t “eDisclosure” the same system that EPA operated from 2008 – 2013?
