EPA has two tools for collecting reports and notices from NPDES permittees. More information on these tools (includes more specific FAQs) are available through the links below.
- NetDMR: NPDES permittees can use this tool to electronically submit their DMRs. NPDES permittees may use NetDMR after requesting and receiving permission from their permitting authority. After receiving this permission, the NPDES permittee uses the NetDMR tool to electronically submit their DMRs via a secure Internet connection. This tool is currently used by 19 states, all 10 EPA Regions, and approximately 14,000 NPDES permittees (as of August 2016).
- NPDES eReporting Tool (NeT): NPDES permittees will be able to use this tool to electronically submit their Notices of Intent (NOI) for coverage under a general permit as well as other general permit notices. NPDES permittees will also can use this tool to electronically submit their NPDES program reports (e.g., Sewage Sludge/Biosolids Annual Program Report). EPA is using this tool for a limited set of NPDES permits and will expand use of this tool as it implements the final rule.
